Minas San Francisco hydroelectric project
Provision of consulting services for the supervision of the construction of civil works, transmission line, detailed engineering, manufacturing, supply, assembly and testing of the equipment and commissioning of the plant.
Structural, hydraulic and geotechnical redesign of the RCC dam of the Minas San Francisco project.
A closure in the Jubones River with a RCC (Rolled Compacted Concrete) gravity dam , at the site called San Francisco, 54 m high measured from the current level of the river bottom. The axis of the structure is located downstream of the confluence of the San Francisco River in the Jubones River.
The main structure of the dam has a Creager-type profile top, with parabolic development, for the discharge of excess flows. The energy dissipation at the foot is made up of a ski-jump structure and a pre-excavated bowl in the natural course of the Jubones River.
Project carried out as part of the Hidrojubones Consortium.
Installed capacity 275 MW
